Maddy has 15 years’ experience working in academic administration. She gained insight into the AMBA and AASCB accreditation process whilst working at the Surrey Business School (University of Surrey), UK. Maddy joined this company at the beginning of 2023 and is responsible for managing finance.
Hans van der Heijden
Hans is the director of H2 Software and a part-time Professor of Accounting at the University of Sussex Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, and previously worked at Copenhagen Business School and PwC Amsterdam. Hans has held senior positions at University of Sussex Business School, incl. director of internationalisation and deputy dean. During this time he was in charge of the School’s EQUIS accreditation.

Sarah Harper
Sarah is Client Relationship Manager at H2 Software, which she manages alongside her role as Founder and Director of Sharper Consultancy. Sarah brings significant experience and knowledge of business school accreditations, having supported over 30 schools through all stages of the accreditation journey— from eligibility and self-evaluation to peer review preparation and CIR submissions.
Sarah previously worked as Accreditation Manager at Sheffield Hallam University where she led the successful achievement of initial AACSB accreditation, three EFMD Programme Accreditation cycles, two PRME SIP reports, and two Small Business Charter submissions. Sarah holds and Executive MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.
Kara Ilsley
Kara is General Manager at H2 Software, overseeing Product Management and Information Security. She brings extensive experience from the UK higher education sector, with roles at Sheffield Hallam University—where, as Accreditation Officer for Sheffield Business School, she used Accredinator extensively.
Kara has also previously work at Royal Holloway, University of London; and London Metropolitan University. Before relocating to the UK, Kara worked in Australia in a variety of roles related to compliance and tendering. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Queensland; and is a certified ISO 27001: 2022 ISMS Lead Implementor.
Harvey Jensen
Harvey is a Software Developer at H2 Software. Harvey has a background in mechanical engineering. After graduating from the University of Bath, he began his career in IT consulting as a managed service application support engineer. In this role, he specialized in managing legacy systems for large UK National Systems clients, gaining significant experience in Linux-based environments while working on a variety of projects. Harvey now works alongside Hans & Kara maintaining and developing new features for the Accredinator system.
